I was talking to J the other night about exams and he didn't get why I didn't like multiple choice. I told him I thought it was because I couldn't explain my answers. He said, "Oh, so you're a bullshit artist." I responded, "No, I'm going to be an attorney."
Comments:
I HATE multiple choice! I could turn every question into an essay... "Well, it really depends... the answer could be 'A' because... dot dot dot ...but if the situation were blah blah blah, then the answer would be 'C.' You're probably looking for 'B' as the correct answer, but that's far too simplistic a viewpoint, don't you think?"
