All Things Profane and Sacred

We did the grocery shopping last night, a two hour ordeal (one for travel, one for navigating WinCo Foods) after which we always treat ourselves to a take and bake pizza. When we got home, we were without power, so the pizza sat on the porch, sadly uneaten. Our range top works when the power is out, but the oven has a digital dial. The real bitch is the no water situation-I don't feel real professional heating up water on the stove to take a ho-bath (splash the water between the legs, under the boobs and rinse the armpits). In any case, today J flagged down a passing caravan of electric company men who are busy as bees fixing the temporary fixes they threw up after the storm, and reports from the home front indicate that we do again have power.

I'm gonna go home and eat'sa pizza.
